Choosing The Right Computer
Choosing a computer is an important and expensive decision since you want it to meet both your academic and personal needs. East Carolina University recommends that all students have access to a computer, and certain university majors have requirements that students have a laptop meeting certain minimum specifications. It is our desire to help you "choose the right computer." ECU has setup the ACE Initiative to provide special educational discount pricing plus on-campus support to ECU students who purchase Lenovo (formerly IBM) and Apple computers through ECU Dowdy Student Stores. The ACE recommended laptops are covered with complete free on-campus support and exclusive warranty repairs with an available laptop loaner program.
