Hats off to the ECU graduates

To pick up your cap and gown, download the apparel form, complete as much as you can, and bring it with you to Dowdy Student Store in the Wright Building. Forms are also available at the store if you are unable to print a form ahead of time. You may pick up your cap and gown at the customer service counter during regular store hours.

Medical Students

For those students who are unable to visit the Dowdy Student Stores to get their graduation regalia, we will gladly ship this to you for a minimum shipping and handling charge of $8.00. Please also add 7% sales tax if being shipped within North Carolina.  

1.    Simply download and print the commencement apparel form.

2.    Complete the form including your signature and date, phone number and ship to address (no PO Boxes).

3.    Submit the completed form to us via fax at (252) 328-4359, mail, or scan and email it to studentstores@ecu.edu.  Our mailing address is ECU Dowdy Student Stores, Wright Bldg. - Mail Stop 210, East Carolina University, Greenville, NC  27858.

Once we have received a completed commencement apparel form, we will contact you for payment information.

There is an additional charge for those students that will require a Master's degree hood, Honor cord, and additional caps, gowns, and tassels.

Students graduating from the College of Nursing should order their pin from the ECU Dowdy Student Stores before the Fall pinning ceremony. The pin should be ordered by February 8, 2013.

Dowdy Students Stores in the Wright Building is East Carolina University's official source for graduation regalia, merchandise, and apparel.

A Graduation Expo is held each semester for upcoming graduates. This is the first opportunity for seniors to pick up their cap and gown. Tables have information and special offers for seniors. Graduates should plan to attend this event at the ECU Dowdy Student Stores in the Wright Building. Tables are also set up in the foyer and store lobby, but mostly inside the store for the Expo.

Jostens representatives will be on hand to speak with you about announcements, class rings, diploma frames, and graduation packages.  Many seniors will have received a mailing from Jostens about special packages that can be ordered.  If not, information about these can also be found at the Expo. 

Along with Jostens are representatives from University Frames, and many ECU departments with information and offers for the soon-to-be ECU Alumnus!  The spring 2013 Graduation Expo was held February 5-7, 2013.  If you missed it, you can still pick up your cap and gown at the Dowdy Student Store.  Visit the Jostens website for announcements and other items.
