Distance Education book buyback online quotes are NOT available at this time. We plan to resume this service beginning November 10, 2008.

When this service will be resumed, information and details on how to sell your books back to us online are the following:

AFTER you have received your online buyback quote, if interested in selling your books back to the Dowdy Student Stores, please include the following when shipping your books:

• Full name
• ECU Banner ID Number (What is my ECU Banner ID?)
  
• Mailing Address
• Telephone number
• Email address

Components that accompanied the book when purchased must also be included when sending your books to the Dowdy Student Stores to sell back. Components could include CD, study guide, web access code, etc. Other book criteria for selling back include the following:

• Books must be in good sellable condition - clean and complete.
• Other book buyback criteria is posted on the Dowdy Student Stores website under Dowdy Student Stores Textbook Book Buyback FAQ.

Please note that if you mail or ship the book(s) to Dowdy Student Stores to sell back, we are then obligated to complete the buyback transaction on those books we receive, no matter what the price is at that time that we receive and process the books for buyback. If the book is worth $0, we will hold the book for a short period of time and then dispose of. If you would like any books returned to you that could be worth $0, please clearly indicate this when mailing or shipping the books to the Dowdy Student Stores. The Dowdy Student Stores will not be held responsible for any shipping costs for any books to be returned back to you and we will only hold no value books for a short period of time due to space constraints. In addition, the Dowdy Student Stores will not be held responsible for any books that we did not receive when shipped or mailed to us.
