ECU Dowdy Student Stores offers students several convenient ways to purchase their textbooks.
1) Walk In Purchasing:
Students can come to the Dowdy Student Stores located in the Wright Building on East Carolina University's main campus to purchase their textbooks directly.
[A discount coupon is available for in-store shoppers.]
We accept cash, check, credit card, and
Bookstore Accounts (financial aid or other funds tied to your ECU 1 Card) for in-store purchases.
2) Online Textbook Ordering (purchase or rental): www.studentstores.ecu.edu/shop
Note: orders are not accepted for dorm room delivery -- in-store pickup available.
• Distance Education Students
Distance Education Students can select their desired textbooks, pay online, and have their books delivered, by ordering through Dowdy Student Stores online store, www.studentstores.ecu.edu/shop.
• For all orders, please allow at least 3 full business days for order processing.
3) Textbook Reservations:
The Textbook Reservation program is CLOSED for the Fall 2011 semester. Reservation deadline for Fall was July 31; however, online ordering is still available with the option to pick your books up at the store when you arrive back on campus. (CLICK HERE)
The Textbook Reservation Program is handled online, and offers students a convenient way to buy textbooks. Simply login with your PirateID and password, enter your Banner ID, select your preferences, and enter credit card information. We'll pull your class schedule and select your books for you, box them up, and have them ready for you on move-in weekend. Check back for the deadline for a future semester!
