ECU Dowdy Student Stores offers students several convenient ways to purchase their textbooks.
1) Walk In Purchasing:
Students can come to the Dowdy Student Stores located in the Wright Building on East Carolina University's main campus to purchase their textbooks directly.
2) Online Textbook Ordering: www.studentstores.ecu.edu/shop
Note: orders are not accepted for dorm room delivery.
• Distance Education Students
Distance Education Students can select their desired textbooks, pay online, and have their books delivered, by ordering through Dowdy Student Stores online store, www.studentstores.ecu.edu/shop.
• For all orders, please allow at least 5 full business days for order processing.
3) Textbook Reservations:
Textbook Reservations are handled online, and offer students a convenient way to buy textbooks. Simply login with your PirateID and password, enter your Banner ID, select your preferences, and enter credit card information. We'll pull your class schedule and select your books for you, box them up, and have them ready for you on move-in weekend. Books MUST be picked up August 22 or 23 at the location designated on the reservation form.
JULY 31 is the DEADLINE FOR TEXTBOOK RESERVATIONS.
