ECU Employee Wellness Institute
The ECU Employee Wellness Institute (WI) provides participants with an opportunity to learn about personal and professional wellness. The Wellness Institute offers such benefits as improved health, stress reduction techniques, financial management, exercise and fitness practice, heightened personal performance, reduced sick leave, reduced medical costs and stronger interpersonal relationships. The Institute is open to all University Staff and Faculty.
The WI will meet every Tuesday (starts 9/23/2014) from 3:30pm - 5pm for 8 consecutive weeks in room 202 of the SRC. Please note the 1st and last meeting will begin at 3:00 pm. Attendance at the Wellness Institute requires prior Supervisor Approval. Registration is now available on Cornerstone. ECU Staff Senate Annual Health Fitness Walk
The ECU Staff Senate is sponsoring its annual Health Fitness Walk around Lake Laupus on Wednesday, October 29 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Last
year we had departments and organizations
from all over campus (and a few vendors) set up at tables around the
lake promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. The event was a huge
success and we are looking to continue it this year.
