Vending Services is responsible for all snack machines, and fresh, cold food vending machines at East Carolina University. Beverage machines are managed by the Minges Bottling Group of Pepsi-Cola Bottlers of Greenville through a partnership with ECU.

If you encounter a problem with a vending machine, please call 737-1301 immediately. If it is after hours, please leave a message with your name, daytime phone number and the nature of the problem. In cases of vandalism or theft, please call the ECU Police immediately, (252) 328-6787.

ECU Vending is a division of ECU Business Services. Through your continued patronage we are able to take profits from administrative area vending machines and use it to provide the Textbook Loan Program. This program allows full-time ECU staff and faculty and their dependents to borrow textbooks required for courses taken at ECU. Certain criteria apply.

Special Event Beverages
Vending Services serves as a liaison between the university and the Minges Bottling Group to order soft drinks and water in bulk for special events and university activities. This is not in lieu of catering, but rather, for special circumstances or events not requiring catering. Please complete a Special Event Beverage Request for to receive a price quote and/or place an order. After you complete this online form, please email us (craiglel@ecu.edu) to confirm receipt.

Refunds on the east campus are managed through the Dowdy Student Stores in the Wright Building. Refunds on the west campus are handled through the Medical Bookstore, Brody 1S-04. Many larger buildings on campus have a staff member responsible for providing refunds as well.
