The Business Alumni Network fosters an exchange of ideas, friendship, and expertise between COB students and business professionals. The program matches students (mentees) with experienced professionals (mentors) to discuss ideas, experiences, and career development plans. There are events held throughout the school year that give both mentors and mentees opportunities to meet College of Business alumni, professors, and students.
How it Works
Mentors and mentees each complete an online application which is then used to determine compatible matches. Over the course of the semester, each pair communicates (via phone, email or meeting) to discuss education plans, career advice, and general 'wisdom for life' principles. These interactions may be scheduled around both personal calendars or may occur at College of Business events or university-wide functions. Mentors are not required to live in Greenville to mentor a College of Business student.
