Meet the Staff

	F. John Paul “Scotty” Andrews Director of Career Services andrewsfa@ecu.edu Scotty has served as Director of Career Services since 2006 and was Director of Career Services at Syracuse University (also his alma mater), University of Miami in Coral Gables, and West Virginia University. Prior to this, he worked for many years in the international financial area. Scotty also served his country as a U.S. Navy Officer before beginning his business career. He holds masters degrees from both Thunderbird School of Global Management and Columbia Business School.
	Lee Brown Assistant Director of Career Services brownjo@ecu.edu Lee has served as Assistant Director of Career Services office since 2006. After graduating from ECU’s College of Business in 1999, Lee began his career in the automotive industry. Having worked several years in corporate management, Lee brings a business-based approach to the Career Services office. He serves primarily as the Corporate Outreach / Employer Relations extension of the Career Services office but also assists students with resumes, mock interviews, and other career development activities.
	Tywanda Newsome Administrative Support Associate newsomet@ecu.edu Tywanda is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Business Administration and concentration in Management. She has worked with the College of Business Career Services office since May 2007, soon after its opening, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Counselor Education at ECU. Tywanda ensures that the office operates smoothly, tending not only to administrative matters but also counseling students as the need arises.
