The Center for Economic Education (CEE) is a public service unit in the College of Business. The mission of the center is to insure that all students in North Carolina develop economic understanding and abilities to solve problems in their lives as consumers, savers, investors, employees, employers, citizens and participants in a global economy. Embodied in this mission is the goal of financial literacy and an appreciation for entrepreneurship. The main vehicle for accomplishing this goal is workshop offerings for teachers throughout the year. Workshops are offered for the various grade levels throughout the year.   

The Center for Economic Education is a part of the North Carolina Council on Economic Education and is affiliated with the National Council on Economic Education.
