ECU Investment Club

ECU Investment Club

The Investment Club is a student organization open to all majors. We host discussions on investment strategies and current market phenomena, and occasionally a speaker from a profession related to investing. Our primary goal is to foster knowledge and interest about investing within the student body. The Club is a great place to network with like-minded individuals, and learn more about investment opportunities they might otherwise miss.

This semester we will be assembling small groups to focus on individual industries and submit their analyses for review by the remainder of the Club.  These “case studies” are a great way to try your hand at analysis and help other members learn simultaneously.  Additionally, each member will be encouraged to perform a stock pitch presentation to build valuable speaking and research skills.

We are running a monthly stock contest on WallStreetSurvivor.com for practice and experimenting purposes. These simulators are an excellent way to try out investment strategies and gain experience without risk of loss.

We meet every Wednesday in Bate 1007 at 5pm. Feel free to contact any of the executive officers if you have questions.
