| Shanan Gwaltney Gibson, PhD, Associate Professor of Management, is the Associate Dean for Student and Faculty Development in the College of Business at East Carolina University. Her research interests include small business issues, entrepreneurship education, online training and education, and human resources management issues such as job analysis and technology acceptance. Recent publications can be seen in the Journal of Small Business Strategy, Journal of Applied Management and Entrepreneurship, Journal of Education for Business, New England Journal of Entrepreneurship, and the International Journal of Family Business. She is a co-editor of the recently published Handbook of Work Analysis: Methods, Systems, Applications and Science of Work Measurement in Organizations and co-edits the Small Business Institute® Journal.
