Linda A. Quick, PhD, CPA, is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at ECU. She received her undergraduate and master's degrees in accounting from ECU, and her PhD from the University of South Carolina. Prior to entering the PhD program, Linda worked as an auditor for KPMG in Norfolk, Virginia for three years and is a licensed CPA in Virginia.
Linda's research interests include behavioral research in international accounting and auditing, issues related to the implementation of IFRS and principles-based standards in the United States, auditor litigation, and auditor judgment and decision making.
Outside of work, Linda enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon, and dog, Ty. Her hobbies include running and watching ECU and South Carolina football and baseball.
