Dr. Erik C. Taylor joined the College of Business at East Carolina University in 2017 after completing his Ph.D. in management at Louisiana State University. His research focuses primarily on team-based phenomena, strategic human resource management, and research methods, and has appeared in the Journal of Management and the Journal of Business & Psychology among several other outlets. Dr. Taylor has received multiple best paper and outstanding reviewer awards at national and regional management conferences, including the annual meetings of the Academy of Management and the Southern Management Association. Prior to earning his Ph.D., Dr. Taylor earned an MBA from East Carolina, a Master’s Degree in English from Radford University, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Mary Washington, and worked in various roles in finance and management with Morgan Stanley, American International Group, and Sylvan Learning, Inc.
