The Department of Finance provides support for the College of Business in the areas of managerial finance, banking, financial services, business law and real estate. The Department facilitates an environment where students and faculty can develop applied and theoretical knowledge as the basis for successful financial management of both large and small organizations and in providing financial services to both individuals and financial institutions.
This purpose is achieved through offering four concentrations: Financial Services, Managerial Finance, Risk Management & Insurance, and General Business. Each concentration furnishes professional education in relevant methods of financial management. The Department of Finance also contributes to the College of Business by providing high quality graduate courses through the graduate school (MBA and MSA programs) and by offering courses required for admission to the College of Business. |
