Marketing Concentration

The concentration in Marketing provides students with the insight needed to identify marketing opportunities, develop appropriate strategies, and put them into action.  The concentration curriculum provides flexibility for students seeking careers in the fields of advertising, sales management, industrial marketing, marketing research, Internet marketing, distribution management, and international marketing.

Operations & Supply Chain Management Concentration

The concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management prepares students for careers involving the identification, acquisition, positioning and management of resources that an organization needs or potentially needs in the attainment of its strategic objectives.  Graduates in OSCM have career choices as managers of purchasing, supply chains, inventory, logistics, operations, projects, and quality.  The OSCM curriculum also prepares graduates to sit for the Certified Purchasing Manager examination.

Electronic Commerce Concentration 

The concentration in Electronic Commerce is designed to prepare students to assume roles in project management or technical support related to website development, and Internet marketing.  The concentration curriculum provides students with an understanding of strategic issues, emerging business models, and interdisciplinary issues related to the electronic commerce environment.  Positions upon graduation include web project management, web-based sales and customer service, and support roles in either marketing or management information systems.
