COB's Center for Student Success serves as a one-stop-shop, assisting business students before they arrive and after they graduate. The Center operates on the IDEA concept: Illuminate, Develop, Enhance, and Act. Business students learn to Illuminate their abilities, values, and strengths. The Center helps students Develop their abilities and link those to career choices. Students will Enhance their leadership potential through professional development, internships, and involvement with leadership coaches. Students will be able to Act by implementing the knowledge, experience, and skills that have developed throughout their academic experience in the College of Business.

Academic Advising Center

The Center acts as a resource for all business students by providing current academic requirement information, advice on major decision-making, professional enrichment programs, and information on campus resources.

Business Communication Center

The Center coaches students in communication, strengthening their written and oral communication skills which translates to an added edge in a competitive employment market.

Career Services

Career Services provides personalized attention to business students, coaching them and providing support as they prepare for a career beyond ECU. They help match talented students with high quality internships and full-time jobs.

NET Works:

Beginning fall 2009, new undergraduate COB students will participate in the Leadership and Professional Development Program. NET Works reflects the networking that occurs within this new program. Each student's NET Works consists of an Academic Advisor, Communication Coach, Leadership Coach, Career Coach, Peer Mentor, and professional connections in ProNet, COB's professional network of business experts.
