The Center for Survey Research (CSR) in the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences at East Carolina University provides various services for projects that involve web-based, mail, and telephone surveys. This includes survey design consultation, data collection, and statistical analysis. The CSR supports public agencies, private clients, university scholars, and students in carrying out high-quality research.
Our specific services include developing surveys, structuring questions, and suggesting appropriate methodologies and sampling strategies. Other types of services include practical and academic research, preparation of proposals, grant application assistance, public opinion polls, targeted market polls, data analyses, needs assessments, focus groups, program evaluations, and participatory appraisal techniques. The Center for Survey Research provides research, education, and outreach to a broad number of constituency groups while developing students that are uniquely positioned to make an impact on future generations.
The CSR staff are proud members of the American Association for Public Opinion Research and Southern Association for Public Opinion Research. The Center is also an institutional member of the Association of Academic Survey Research Organizations.
