Lambda Alpha Honor Society

Students eligible to be inducted into Lambda Alpha Anthropology Honor Society must fulfill the following criteria:

Lambda Alpha

Must have completed at least 12 semester hours of Anthropology courses

Must have a 3.0 or better GPA in Anthropology courses

Must also have a 2.5 overall GPA

Students that meet these criteria must fill out an application card obtained from the faculty advisor, and must complete it and have it signed by the faculty advisor. Along with the application card, the students must also include a check for $25.00 to cover the national dues and give it to the Lambda Alpha faculty advisor.

 Congratulations to all of our new graduates in Anthropology! The graduation ceremony was held on Friday and was well attended by family and friends. Thanks to all of our faculty and staff that helped make the event a success! Check out one of our featured graduates interviewed on WNCT!

The Anthropology Student Organization (ANSO) raised $750 during a bake sale over 3 days for earthquake survivors in Nepal.  Proceeds were sent to Direct Relief, a nonprofit which works with local Non-Governmental Organizations: Thank you for everyone's support!
