For its eighth consecutive year, East Carolina University will host the popular Foreign Policy Association’s Great Decisions Program. The program, sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Eastern North Carolina (WAC-ENC) and ECU, will run for 8 consecutive Saturdays, January 14 through March 3, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Rivers West Building auditorium on the ECU campus.
A series of lectures by academic and professional experts will make up the forum. Topics scheduled for the series include Indonesia, Promoting Democracy, State of the Oceans, Energy Geopolitics, Mexico, Cybersecurity, Exit from Afghanistan and Iraq, and Middle East Realignment.
Full-time ECU students, staff and faculty may attend for free and purchase the program book for $19. For the general public, the fee is $37 for all 8 sessions, and includes membership in the WAC-ENC. The textbook is $19. The cost to attend individual sessions is $6.
