Research Overview

My research interest lies in the application of NMR spectroscopy to biophysical studies of proteins, such as protein folding/misfolding, and to environmental sciences. Current researches are focused on amyloidogenic proteins that are related to many types of neurodegenerative diseases. In addition, solid-state NMR spectroscopy has been used to characterize (activated) biochar that can potentially be used for water purification.
