Constance Haywood is a North Carolina native. She received her B.A. in English from ECU in May 2015 and her M.A. in English Studies in May 2017. During her time as a M.A. student, she worked as a UWC consultant, a teacher’s assistant, a research assistant, and a teaching instructor. While her research interests vary, her comprehensive assessment project (CAP) focuses on the rhetorics of professional culture and workplace grooming policies on black female embodiment. She currently works as a teaching instructor for the University. In her spare time, she likes to discover new music, try new teas, travel, and spend time with her beloved boxer-mix, Daisy.
