About

After more than seven years in information technology, including time at one of the first Internet service providers, Henry Marx quit his job. Transferring to the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, he intended to complete the degree in English he had begun at the University of Maryland so many years earlier. His discovery of linguistics while completing his undergraduate degree led him to pursue graduate work at East Carolina University. Henry has been teaching since his time as an ECU grad student and plans to stop only when he is pronounced dead by the coroner.
