Course Requirements

Choose one research methods course from the following:

6009 Research Methods in Language Study
6805 Research: The Writer's Perspective
7005 Bibliography and Methods
7601 Research Design in Rhetoric and Composition
7701 Research Methods in Technical and Professional Writing

Develop an approved, unified program of study including at least 3 hrs. from each of three concentrations or areas of study, and an additional 9 hrs. of coursework chosen from ENGL courses.

Students seeking a concentration in English studies must submit a plan of study for approval to the Director of Graduate Studies.
