Christy Hallberg is a
native of Greenville. She worked at a local CPA firm and taught English and
Journalism at Roanoke High School in Martin County before joining the ECU
faculty in 2000. In addition to her teaching duties, she serves as an assistant editor for North Carolina Literary Review. Her essays, interviews, and fiction have appeared or are forthcoming
in such publications as North Carolina Literary Review, The International
Journal of Arts in Society, Pitkin
Critical Arts Review, Mainstreet Rag,
Fiction Southeast, Concho River Review, Eclectica, and Emerge.
