The PhD program offers students the opportunity to combine theory and practice in the study of rhetoric, writing, and professional communication. Focusing on public and community rhetoric across genres and media, we provide future scholar-teachers with diverse, well-supported research and pedagogical experiences and foster professional development within intellectual and professional communities.
We have recently updated the website to reflect the revisions to the program. Please contact the Director of Graduate Studies, Michelle F. Eble, firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions about the program. Parts of the website are under construction, but we're excited to talk with prospective students interested in beginning the program in Fall 2015.
