Mike Hamer teaches composition, song lyric writing, comparative mythology, American Nature Writers, interpreting literature and American literature. His research interests include American songwriters, spirituality and disability, and the zen of non-achievement. Hamer has one CD and three tapes on the Black Swamp Music label, and when he is not writing or playing music you may find him wheelchair-dancing to a live band.
