James Craig Holte has served as the Director of Graduate Studies in English and the Director of Freshman Composition. His publications include Writing from Experience, Writing about Literature, The Ethnic I, The Conversion Experience in America, Dracula in the Dark, and The Fantastic Vampire. He is the editor of The Ruthven Literary Bulletin and has served as a special editor for The Journal of the Fantastic in the Arts. He has written over 300 film reviews and has lectured internationally on film and popular culture. He regularly teaches courses in film and literature.
