Erica Plouffe Lazure is a writer and musician living in Greenville, North Carolina. Her fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in McSweeney's Quarterly Concern; North Carolina Literary Review; the Raleigh News & Observer, and elsewhere. Her essay on William Faulkner's Absalom, Absalom! is forthcoming in the Mississippi Quarterly.
