Donna Lillian's is
Associate Professor of Discourse & Linguistics and Associate Chair of the
Department of English at East
Carolina University.
Her publications include articles in Names, WORD, Critical Approaches to
Discourse Analysis Across Disciplines, Discourse & Society, American,
British and Canadian Studies, LACUS FORUM, SKY Journal of Linguistics, and the Journal of the Atlantic
Provinces Linguistic Association, as well as several articles in conference
proceedings and numerous book reviews in various journals. She has
delivered over 30 papers at conferences across Canada
and the United States
and has chaired numerous conference sessions.
She is Second Vice-President of the American
Name Society and Managing Editor of WORD, the journal of the International Linguistic Association.
