Javier Reyes  has returned to ECU after five years. Previously he worked a semester at ECU as part of a faculty exchange program with the University of Belize. In the interim he has been pursuing his Ph.D. from the University of Miami (Florida). His dissertation-in-process investigates sexual subalterns' confrontations with liberationist discourses.
