Reginald Watson teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in American and multicultural literature, along with composition. His essays are forthcoming in College Language Association and Contours. His book manuscript, Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Images of the Mulatto, is currently under review by Oxford University Press and he serves on the editorial board of A Turbulent Voyage. He is co-founder and director of the student dramatic group, East Carolina University Thespians of Diversity, and serves as advisor to the minority magazine, Expressions. He has also written three plays which have been performed since 1993.
