Catherine Anderson

Catherine Anderson serves as the Assistant to the Director of Graduate Studies and provides administrative support to campus and DE graduate students. She processes contracts and EPAFs for graduate assistantships, maintains personnel documents and provides support to both students and faculty. Catherine graduated from East Carolina University in 2009 with a BA in Psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, reading, and baking.

Lindsay Canting
Lindsay Canting

Lindsay Canting is the Assistant to the Director of Undergraduate Studies. She maintains degree-progress records, creates semester course schedules, and assists undergraduate students and faculty advisors. She graduated from Converse College in 2009 with a BFA in Creative Writing and a BM in Music History, and from Florida State in 2011 with a MM in Musicology. She enjoys eating with chopsticks, playing instruments, writing about music, and highpointing.

Ashleigh Hill

Ashleigh Hill is the Administrative Support for the Associate Chair of the Department of English. She serves as the terminal operator, manages office responsibilities, planning and coordinating the departmental graduation ceremonies, and oversees the use and distribution of equipment in our Media Lab. Ashleigh graduated from East Carolina University in 2011 with a BS in Economic and a minor is Business Administration.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and eating delicious foods, cooking and playing fetch with her two Labs.

Ashley Hudson serves as the Lead Amin. and Assistant to the Chair of the Department of English and provides administrative, clerical, and office management support to over 90 faculty members.  She handles the preparation and maintenance of all personnel records, departmental budgets, purchase orders, inventories of supplies and equipment, and serves as liaison for the department with other units on campus.  Originally from Florida, Ashley grew up in Fayetteville, NC before graduating from ECU in 2007 with a BA in English and a Religious Studies minor. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys music, hockey, and football.

Tracy McLawhorn

Tracy McLawhorn is the technology editor and assistant textual editor for the John Donne Variorum Project.  She maintains the project website, helps with editing the text of Donne's poems, and typesets the printed volumes.  Tracy graduated from North Carolina State University with a BA in English in 2001 and a MA in English in 2003, and from Texas A&M with a PhD in English in 2013.  Tracy has presented her work on Donne at MLA ("Editing Donne in Manuscript and Print," Seattle, 2012; "Donne's 'Breake of Day' and its Seventeenth-Century Adaptations," Philadelphia, 2009), RSA ("Two Texts of Donne's 'Madam, I am not come out of England,'" Venice, 2010), and SAMLA ("Variant Versions of 'The Will,'" Charlotte, 2006). LATCH journal published Tracy's essay "Intersections between 'Stay, O Sweet' and Donne's 'Breake of Day'" in 2011.
