Now in its eighth year in Greenville, the popular Foreign Policy Association’s Great Decisions Program will be hosted by East Carolina University beginning January 14, 2012 through March 3, 2012. Sponsored by the World Affairs Council (WAC) of Eastern North Carolina and ECU, the program will run for eight consecutive Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 12 noon, at the Rivers West Building auditorium. The program consists of a series of lectures by academic and professional expects on Cybersecurity, Indonesia, State of the Oceans, Energy Geopolitics, Promoting Democracy, Mexico, Exit from Afghanistan and Iraq and Middle East Realignment.
ECU students, staff and faculty can attend for free and purchase the program book for $19. The fee is $37 for all eight sessions, which includes membership in the WAC-ENC. The textbook costs $19. The cost for individual sessions is $6.
