Ms. Halva is a PhD student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has traveled and studied in Russia many times, having spent most of her time there at Rostov State University in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. She has also studied Serbian in Belgrade, Serbia. At her home university she teaches introductory Russian and Serbian, as well as the Russian Fairy Tale.
