Through a joint project between East Carolina University’s Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Fine Arts and Communication’s School of Art & Design, and the J.Y. Joyner Library, you have the opportunity to own a hand-printed, collectible map reprint of Harriot's North Carolina coastline or Roanoke Island, hand-crafted by students in the School of Art & Design.
These unique maps are hand-crafted under the supervision of art professors Michael Ehlbeck and Matthew Egan, and are available in black-and-white, and may be ordered with color screen printing, or hand-colored enhancements. Due to the elaborate process and time required to generate these collectible maps, no more than 100 will be produced.
Today’s maps may be the beginning of a distinctive ECU collectible series. Use the order form linked below to place your orders quickly, before they sell out!
Maps will ship at the end of the semester in late May, with a handful available at a student led seminar on April 2.
