The MA in International Studies receives a very limited amount of state funds, which are largely restricted to graduate assistantships and honoraria for speakers. Monetary gifts from current students, alumni, faculty and friends of the MA in International Studies Program would help us send students to conferences, support their international field experiences, supplement available graduate assistantships, and allow us to organize more curricular and co curricular activities.
Special "A Decade of MAIS" Campaign
The MA in International Studies Program is approaching its tenth anniversary. The program was approved in the summer of 1996 and enrolled its first class (of two students) in 1997. Since that time it has grown to a current enrollment of over twenty five and an alumni pool of almost fifty. By the time we are a decade old, we hope to be growing by 20%. But we need your help to sustain our current growth rate in the face of increased pressures on funding for graduate education at ECU. Please help us continue to prosper and grow.
Any contribution you or your firm could make, whether $10, 100 or $1000 would be greatly appreciated by our students and faculty.
