Amanda Sines
ASAmanda is originally from and grew up in Fayetteville, NC. Amanda completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in Political Science. Amanda is now working on her Master’s degree in International Studies with a concentration in International Higher Education Administration. She is currently a graduate assistant for Katie Erickson, the ECU Assistant Director for Education Abroad and assists with scholarship applications and a variety of issues dealing with internatioanl students at East Carolina. Amanda is involved with the Graduate Student Association (GSAIS) for International Studies as well as the International Student Association (ISA). Amanda has chosen Spanish as the language to fulfill her foreign language requirement and plans to travel to Heredia, Costa Rica later in 2013 to complete the ten week field experience requirement for the MAIS program. Amanda will be working on future career plans after completing her field experience. In her free time, Amanda likes to read and play the violin.
