Neuroscience Graduation

I am pleased to announce that beginning Fall 2007, the neuroscience graduation ceremony will merge with the psychology graduation ceremony. As many Neuroscience students are also affiliated with the Psychology department in a meaningful way or in an extensive capacity, it is only fitting that our Neuroscience majors be recognized for their outstanding work and achievement alongside those of the Psychology majors. Furthermore, it is in the best interests of the Neuroscience Program in the long-term, as it will provide the positive publicity [in front of a much larger audience] that the program needs.

We thank both Psi Chi and the Department of Psychology for allowing this wonderful relationship that we hope will last for a long time.

For Fall 2007 graduation, neuroscience students should do the following:

(1) Dress in appropriate graduation attire.

(2) Meet in the hallway of Rawl at 6:00P sharp on Friday, December 14th. At that point, Psi Chi officers will instruct you on where to line up.

(3) Have your party (parents, friends, etc.) situated in Wright Auditorium, as you will walk over there with the graduating class when time comes. The ceremony will begin at 7:00P.

For more details regarding the graduation ceremony, contact Dr. Tran or a Psi Chi officer.
