The mission of the Pass Clinic is to be a center of excellence in training Psychologists. We are a non-profit psychology clinic associated with the ECU Doctoral Program in Health Psychology (Click
for more information on this program). The Clinic provides behavioral health services to ECU faculty and staff, as well as the surrounding community, while also providing supervised training for graduate student clinicians.
Professional services are offered in the areas of clinical expertise of our licensed faculty supervisors. Because we are part of a major research university, our faculty, supervisors, and student therapists employ the latest and most helpful treatment methods. We are fortunate to have experts in a number of specialty services or areas of practice, and our students are supervised in the delivery of these services.
The ECU Pass Clinic embraces the concept of human diversity and the goal of providing sensitive and competent care to all. We maintain a commitment to treat all patients/clients as valued and respected individuals across all differences. The ECU Community recognizes that global diversity is increasing in our everyday lives and asks all of us to challenge ourselves to develop qualities of adaptability, flexibility, and versatility so that we may all learn to work effectively with those different from ourselves. The ECU PASS Clinic is committed to celebrating diversity such as and including age, culture, developmental an/or acquired disabilities, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, national origin, race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic differences. Further, we embrace an inclusive definition of diversity, while facilitating healing in our lives, and in the lives of those we serve and train.
The ECU PASS Clinic is located on the third floor of the Rawl building (Room 311 across from the elevators) on the ECU East campus.
Because we are a non-profit training clinic, we can provide patients/clients with professional, confidential psychological services based on a reduced - cost sliding fee scale. We work with each patient/client individually to determine affordable rates for our services.
The ECU Psychological Assessment and Specialty Services Clinic has partnered with
Theravive in order to provide members of the community with low cost treatment options.
