We are now accepting projects for Fall 2019 and Spring of 2020

Collaborate with ECU's Department of Engineering students on a two-semester senior design capstone project. Our projects are multi-disciplinary using senior engineers on teams of 3-5 depending on the scope of work.  Your project.  ECU engineering students.  Projects must be design oriented and can cover anything engineers do including product design/development, process design/development/modification, fixturing, test equipment, automation, logistics, optimization, design for value added manufacturing, optimization, lean, sustainability/conservation, manufacturing, bio-systems and related activities. We are now accepting projects for the fall 2019 and spring 2020.

The projects will be worked primarily on campus.  Students are required to meet with you and your staff regularly throughout the two semester process. Our history is that capstone projects run between 350-5600 FTE hours.

Why use an ECU Capstone team for your project?  We are available to work those project for which you just don't have enough resources to get to.  We have energetic and aspiring engineers who bring fresh insight to those nagging issues that are often overlooked.  You will have a presence on campus that will expand your hiring profile; and, every team is an extended interview.  You will be investing in engineering leaders for tomorrow.

What do you do next?  Fill out the Project Proposal Form and email, fax, or mail back to Dr. Gene Dixon.
