S. Rudolph Alexander Performing Arts Series

Parking and Venue Information

All performances are held in the 1,493-seat Wright Auditorium in the center of East Carolina University’s campus.

Wright Auditorium, named after East Carolina Teachers Training School President Robert Herring Wright (who served as such from 1908 until 1934), was completed in 1927. It served as the social and religious facility for the campus. After multiple renovations, the current facility is home to the S. Rudolph Alexander Performing Arts Center, and regularly hosts concerts offered by the School of Music and non-campus groups.
