Research:

My primary research interest is interpersonal health communication and examining how operating room providers communicate. I currently examine and measure conflict patterns between anesthesiologists and surgeons using both quantitative and qualitative measures. Key to this research is understanding the constructs that lead to mis-communication between physicians, and providing training to improve patient safety in the operating room.
