Through East Carolina University’s School of Communication, you will have access to the tools you need to pursue a dynamic career in communication. With the guidance of top faculty and resources, you will develop the skills to become a competitive professional in the national workforce.

Housed in the College of Fine Arts and Communication, the School of Communication is educating tomorrow’s leaders today. Through rigorous course study; professional training using cutting-edge technologies; and collaboration with business professionals, community leaders, and an active alumni association, you will have the experience and training to enter the field you choose.

A college degree is only as good as the professors behind it. At the School of Communication, our faculty is active in researching, broadcasting, consulting, and publishing. But our most important activity is teaching and developing leaders. Our award-winning professors bring professional experience and nationally recognized scholarship into the classroom to provide you authentic, real-life lessons that will prepare you for your career, and the critical-thinking skills that will set you apart from others once your career is under way.
