Benjamin Hochman

Pianist Benjamin Hochman made his recital debut at The Metropolitan Museum of Art; has appeared at the 92nd Street Y; made his Carnegie Hall debut with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra; and has performed with the New York Philharmonic, the National Arts Centre Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony and the American, Chicago, Cincinnati, Jerusalem, Knoxville, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Portland, Seattle, Wheeling and Vancouver symphony orchestras, among others. His chamber-music engagements have included the Bridgehampton, Charlottesville, Cooperstown, Caramoor, Lucerne, Marlboro, Ravinia, Santa Fe, Spoleto, and Verbier music festivals. Mr. Hochman has participated in three prestigious residencies, and his honors include the Outstanding Pianist citation at the Verbier Academy, second prize at the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition, and first prize at the National Piano Competition of the Rubin Academy of Music. He is a graduate of The Curtis Institute of Music and Mannes College of Music. His first album was released on Artek in 2009.
