Active as author, clinician, panelist, and adjudicator for the Music Teachers National Association, North Carolina Music Teachers Association, European Piano Teachers Association, and the National Conference on Piano Pedagogy. Extensive research in piano teacher effectiveness, teacher training, and trends in piano teaching. Piano pedagogy study with Frances Clark, Louise Goss, and Joseph Rezits; piano study with Jorge Bolet, Robert Goldsand, Marion Hall, William Kurzban, and Gyorgy Sebok. Solo and ensemble performances in the U.S. and Europe. Director, Elementary Division of ECU Summer Keyboard Camp.
