Deborah Chodacki
M.M., Northwestern University School of Music; B.M. with Distinction, the Eastman School of Music. Chodacki has performed and taught at schools, conservatories, and festivals, and in orchestras throughout the United States; in Canada at the Banff Center for the Arts and the G. Gould Royal Conservatory of Music; in Bogata and Medellin, Columbia; Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Lithuania; and residencies and festivals in South Korea and China. Live concerto and chamber music performances have been featured on NPR’s “Performance Today.” Chodacki was Instructor of Clarinet at the Interlochen Arts Academy, Associate Professor of Clarinet at the University of Michigan School of Music for fifteen years and also on the faculty at East Carolina University School of Music previously. Her clarinet studies were with Stanley Hasty and Robert Marcellus. |
