Studied flute with Wolfgang Schulz, Karl Kraber, and Carol Wincenc. Has performed with the Charlotte, Greenville (SC), Salisbury, Augusta and North Carolina symphony orchestras. Fellow at Salzburg Summer Academy Festival, 1980; Waterloo Festival, 1988; Sarasota Music Festival, 1989-91; Festival Artist, Banff Music Centre, Canada, 1992. Solo and chamber music performances in Europe, the United States, Canada, and Taiwan. A 1995 winner of the National Flute Association Professional Performer's Competition.
