President of the American Music Therapy Association. Has held a music education teaching license and had extensive clinical music therapy experience with children with Developmental Disabilities in educational and residential settings. She has served as President of the Southeastern Region of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), the Council Coordinator for 9 AMTA committees, and serves on the Executive Board of AMTA. Has also been published in the Journal of Music Therapy and Music Therapy Perspectives several times.
