The School of Art and Design is planning our Alumni Exhibition for the fall of 2015. The dates for this exhibition are September 4 through September 26, 2015, with a gala opening reception on Friday, September 4, 2015. This will be a large downtown Greenville event with four exhibition venues: The Wellington B. Gray Gallery, The Greenville Museum of Art, Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge and the Janice Hardison Faulkner Gallery at Joyner Library.

The exhibition is open to School of Art and Design graduates (undergraduate and graduate students) who graduated in May 2012 and before. We request that no work be larger than 6 feet by 6 feet. All work needs to be ready to hang/install. Please only submit work that has been created since 2012. Participants are responsible for return shipping. Please include return postage on artwork entries that are being mailed or shipped.

We are requiring all participants to submit $25.00, which will go to the School of Art and Design student scholarship fund. You will be giving assistance to the next generation of young artists at East Carolina University. Please take a moment and fill out this alumni survey as you register.

An online application can be found under the “SoAD Alumni Exhibition 2015” tab on the following website:

The deadline for submitting your application, image and fee is Friday, May 29, 2015. Contact Laura Frye in the School of Art and Design office at with any questions.

Artwork must arrive between August 15-21, 2015. You will be notified in advance as to which venue your piece should be sent and exhibited.

This will be an exciting exhibition showcasing the creative work of our School of Art and Design alumni. We hope that you will participate and look forward to your response. Additional information and updates will be forthcoming as needed.
