Submission Requirements 2007-2008 A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.6 in all studio art courses attempted, as well as, a cumulative 2.6 GPA in the Animation / Interactive Design survey and concentration courses attempted is required for acceptance into the Animation / Interactive Design concentration.
After July 1, 2007 - A student who earns a grade of A in Art 2070 or Art 2470 will be automatically accepted into the Animation / Interactive Design concentration, upon email request to the area coordinator: godwinw@ecu.edu.
Any student not covered by the previous statement may submit a portfolio of work online at anytime after successful completion of Art 2070 or Art 2470. To submit the portfolio of work, send the URL for the portfolio to the area coordinator: godwinw@ecu.edu, with SUBMISSION in the subject line of the email.
Only online portfolios will be accepted.
Students may take up to four courses beyond the survey (ART 2070) before submitting to Animation / Interactive Design. Students will not be accepted into Animation / Interactive Design after completing more than five courses.
Students not accepted into their preferred program or area of concentration should be prepared to seek alternative areas of concentration and/or degree programs. |
